Mission Creek Finishes Five Well Workovers

Mission Creek OPCO of Magnolia reported results of the workover of five oil and gas wells in Columbia and Lafayette counties last week to the Arkansas Oil and Gas Commission.

All five wells were drilled into the Cotton Valley Zone, and all are producing small amounts of oil and natural gas.

Three wells were in the Dorcheat Macedonia Field of Columbia County. They were:

Franks-Norwood No. 7, Section 16-18S-21W, drilled to 8,800 feet with perforations between 6,682 and 8,530 feet. Daily production is 6.7 barrels of oil and 21 mcf of natural gas. Work was finished February 24.

Willis “B” No. 8, Section 17-18S-21W, drilled to 8,703 feet with perforations between 6,626 and 8,586 feet. Daily production is 8.4 barrels and 46.7 mcf. Work was finished March 1.

DMCVU No. 96, Section 10-18S-22W, drilled to 8,810 feet with perforations between 6,674 and 8,625 feet. Daily production is 28.4 barrels and 191 mcf. Work was finished March 2.

Two wells were in the McKamie Patton Field of Lafayette County.

Bodcaw “H” No. 2, Section 29-17S-23W was drilled to 8,400 feet, with perforations between 6,983 and 8,344 feet. Daily production is 6.7 barrels and 4 mcf. Work was finished March 5.

Bodcaw “L” No. 2, Section 29-17S-23W, was drilled to 8,400 feet with perforations between 6,906 and 8,374 feet. Daily production is 3.34 barrels and 1.85 mcf. Work was finished March 3.

Lanxess Corporation of El Dorado also reported the workover of its 9-M saltwater disposal well in Section 15-18S-18W in the Wilks Field of Union County. The well was perforated between 8,016 and 8,148 feet in the Smackover Zone. Work was finished March 26.
